For those who don’t want to limit their Bergamo experience to town beauties, it is worth planning some tours to admire the lakes and rivers which are totally or partially inside the Bergamo territory. the Iseo and Endine lakes, the Brembo, Serio and Adda rivers or the mountain and upper-valley water streams offer the visitor several chances of entertainment:

From the simple and pleasant observation of relaxing landscapes, to the exploitation of cycling (ex: along the Brembo river), pedestrian (ex: along the Adda river) and trekking (ex: mounting to the Bronzone mount) routes along lakes, rivers or onto the mountains;  from the chance of boat rides onto lakes and rivers (ex: the Addarella service) to the possibility of exploiting safe beach areas (ex: Monasterolo al castello holiday centre on the Endine lake); from the discovery of cultural laic (ex: Accademia Tadini) and religious (ex: the parish church of Santa Maria in Valvendra) assets to the pleasure of tasting tipical lake-or-river-food-based cook specialties (ex: the Bronzone stracchino cheese or Valcalepio wine-based recipes).

Across Bergamo offers tours centred on the main artistic lines of these areas (ex: Lorenzo Lotto or the Romanino) or plan/suggest a program mainly focused on the territory and its social life.
